Big Blue Report: Two Shepard’s Return to NYG On Wdnesday, Pre Season Schedule Announced.

Shepard Cashes In:

The New York Giants announced on Wednesday that they have reached a contract extension with Wide Receiver Sterling Shepard worth $41 million dollars over four years. Shepard was drafted by the Giants in 2016 with the 40th pick in the second round.

The Giants have been heavily criticized during the off season for trading Odell Beckham Jr to the Browns as well as reshaping their team with the focus on Running back Saquon Barkley. Big Blue signed Golden Tate to a multi-year deal late last month to help fill the void left by Beckham.

Shepard, 26, had a career-best 66 catches for 872 yards last season and he has caught a total of 190 passes for 2,286 yards and 14 touchdowns since joining the Giants.. He also had four touchdowns and was praised for his blocking by the coaching staff.

Russell Shepard Resigns:

Wide receiver  Russell Shepard took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to announce that he will be returning to the New York Giants in 2019.
