Big Names Go Down in Week 2

Injuries are a part of the NFL and are always bound to happen as the season goes along. However, this past week was brutal with a lot of key players going down with major and/or season-ending injuries.

The biggest name comes out of New York with the Giants losing Running Back Saquon Barkley with a torn ACL against the Chicago Bears. Denver Broncos lost Pro-Bowl Wide Receiver Courtland Sutton to a torn ACL and starting Quarterback Drew Lock with an injured AC joint on his throwing shoulder against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The San Francisco 49ers caught the injury bug the most as they had a list of players go out with injuries against the New York Jets. Nick Bosa is out with an apparent ACL injury, Solomon Thomas had a serious knee injury, Jimmy Garoppolo and Raheem Mostert both suffered injuires as well.

Carolina Panthers Star Running Back Christian McCaffrey will miss at least a month with a high-ankle sprain while scoring a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This had to be the toughest weeks of injuries for the league who had to deal with no real training camp and no preseason games it could be a chance that we see more injuries to come. Wishing well for every player who is facing an injury at this moment and praying for a speedy recovery.
