We all knew it would be Celtics versus Bucks for the next bracket of the Eastern Conference. Now that the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics have swept their opponents, they will face off at TD Garden.

Despite the Pacers’ defensive, expectedly the Celtics sweep the series. After Game 1,
Kyrie Irving discussed the current history with the Pacers, “We’ve known them very well. We’ve played them four times throughout the year. Defensively, I knew that we were going to be in the right spots and it was matching that effort and being smart about it, knowing who we wanted to gap off of.” Above that, Brad Stevens commended the Pacers for their defensive.

However, the Bucks will not be as effortless to defeat. Giannis Antetokounmpo is projected to be in the top picks for MVP. Giannis averages 27.7 PPG, 12.5 RPG, and 5.9 APG. Accompanied by the 2017 Rookie of the Year, Malcolm Brogdon with 15.6 PPG, 3.2 APG, and 4.5 RPG. The Bucks as a whole are the number one team in defense and fifth in offensive. The Bucks won two of three of the last games played against the Celtics.

The Celtics have not experienced the best preseason. The dysfunction of the group has been alarming. Last season, Gordon and Irving were both injured. Now, Marcus Smart is out for the rest of the season with oblique injury, Terry Rozier, Aron Baynes and Jaylen Brown have the chance to increase their time on the floor. Brad Stevens deciphering the number of minutes each player should have seemly drove a divide in cohesion. With Irving and Hayward’s return, Terry Rozier time has been shortened from 36 to 22 minutes. Alongside Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown taking less time on the floor. Due to this, the Celtics were not playing at the highest potentials. Some even called their defensive, ‘lackadaisical’.

After Game 4, Kyrie Irving discusses the series win and the evolution of the team, “It just shows how we have come a long way. In terms of our maturity as a group, our mindset, and whoever is on the floor is making sure that we are giving each other confidence and we are in the right spots, doing the little things to ensure a win. When you have that that king of camaraderie it makes it a lot easier… We started off horribly this season. Now that the stakes are at its highest, we’re settling into who we really want to be.”

In game 3 Jaylen Brown proved his worth with talents with leading 23 PPG, 7 RPG, and 1 APG. “We’re clicking at the right time,” Jayson Tatum said. “We look like the team everybody thought we would be at the beginning of the season. It took some ups and downs for us to get here, but I like the way we look.”

At this momentum, Celtics have the ability to win in 6.
