Ravens Giving Back For Thanksgiving

Former Ravens S Ed Reed, alongside his foundation, will join community volunteers to assemble and hand out 400 Thanksgiving meals to every student at the SEED School of Maryland. Reed developed a relationship with the school and maintains it to support the students annually.

On Friday (11/16), Ravens WRs John Brown and Willie Snead IV, as well as LBs Matthew Judon and Patrick Onwuasor, will distribute turkeys and sides at two separate events for 400 pre-selected families in the Baltimore community.

Members of 2008 Ravens to Volunteer at the Baltimore Station

On Saturday (11/17), members of the Baltimore Ravens 2008 team, which advanced to the AFC Championship game, will take part in various service activities at the Baltimore Station’s West Baltimore location.

The Baltimore Station is a residential program that offers support for veterans transitioning through the cycle of poverty, substance use disorder and homelessness to self-sufficiency.

15th Annual Ravens Coat Giveaway

 

The Baltimore Ravens will host their 15th Annual Ravens Coat Giveaway at the Helping Up Mission men’s homeless shelter on Monday (11/19). Several Ravens players, including WR Michael Crabtree, CB/RS Cyrus Jones, OLB Matthew Judon, ILB C.J. Mosley, OLB Za’Darius Smith and G Marshal Yanda will distribute coats and warm weather gear to Baltimore men in need.

13th Annual Helping Up Mission Holiday Dinner

 

On Monday (11/19), former Ravens LB Bart Scott will lead the 13th Annual holiday dinner at the Helping Up Mission men’s homeless shelter. Scott will be joined by former Ravens LBs Jameel McClain and O.J. Brigance, as well as current Raven LB C.J. Mosley.

A special meal of turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mixed vegetables, rolls and dessert will be served to 350 men who live at and visit the shelter.

Ninth Annual 53 Families Foundation Thanksgiving Dinner

 

On Monday (11/19), Ravens CB Anthony AverettLS Morgan Cox, DB/LB Anthony Levine Sr., G Marshal Yanda and LB Kenny Young will join former Ravens LB Jameel McClain in the Baltimore community to extend a helping hand to families in need this holiday season. McClain will host his annual Thanksgiving dinner for 500 people and serve a hot meal complete with turkey and all the trimmings.
