Buccaneers Host Winter Fest For Military Families Affected by Recent Hurricanes

This past Wednesday, the Buccaneers hosted over 120 guests from military families affected by the recent hurricanes. The organization coordinated with the Baldwin group and the American Red Cross, providing these families with a fun-filled afternoon.

As festive music played in the background, families participated in various holiday activities such as photo frame-making and cookie decorating. A table with player’s helmets and shoulder pads for guests to try on was also on display, among other activities such as corn-hole and Madden.

Several members of the Buccaneers cheerleading squad and mascot, Captain Fear, also appeared for the event. The group took photos, entertained, and interacted with families throughout their visit.

To finish out the event, a Mike Evans signed football was given away to one lucky fan in attendance.

When asked about his experience at the event, Rafael Alcala replied, “It’s been a great day, got to do some activities with the family. Good time to come out during the holidays to relax a little bit and enjoy the time.”

Thanks to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in partnership with the Baldwin group and the American Red Cross, it was a fun afternoon for all in attendance.
