Week 4 of DWCS was one to remember. Especially since the underdogs completely stole the show Tuesday night. All five winners received UFC contracts, and one knockout will be remembered for a long time. But for now, let’s get into this week’s contract winners.
Quillan Salkilld
At only 24 years old, Quillan went for 22 takedowns and threw 171 strikes in just 15 minutes. Quillan also showed he is an all-around fighter with the gas tank for all three rounds, even when he took massive shots from Gauge Young. Even though it was a back-and-forth fight, Quillan could stay ahead in each round. From using his wrestling when he had to, Quillan can present some problems to his early opponents in the UFC.

Yuneisy Duben
From having nothing from Venezuela to being a 13-1 underdog to getting a vicious knockout, that was the highlight of the season. Yuneisy Duben is the star of the night and possible star of the season. Now, are there questions about her game? Yes, but she proved that she has insane power, and can output a lot of strikes. If Yuneisy keeps improving her game, she will remain a fan favorite in the UFC.
Austin Bashi
It was a complete domination from Austin Bashi. At only 22 years old and taking this fight on short notice, Austin was able to rake up ten takedowns, throw 91 strikes, and get a rear naked choke submission in under two rounds. As a top prospect out of the Midwest and the number one prospect from Michigan, Austin Bashi’s future is bright. Also, watch his first fight in the UFC whenever it gets announced because he may be the real deal.

Djorden Santos
As said before, the underdogs were the story for week 4 of DWCS. Being a 4-1 underdog, Santos had to show why Vegas was wrong. From stuffing 13 out of 15 takedowns, outstriking Will Currie, and getting more control time, Santos showed that he has a killer instinct. Now 10-1 in his career, this middleweight should be a solid addition.
Seok Hyun Ko
If being a 4 1/2 underdog wasn’t intimating enough, Seok Hyun Ko had to go up against Igor Cavalcanti, who averaged around 86 seconds per fight. From being able to move away from the power shots of Igor, Hyun Ko was able to pick his shots and wear him down to the point where it didn’t even look like Igor knew what he was doing. If Hyun Ko can have the same game plan in the UFC, he should have an excellent career in the welterweight division.

Conclusion
After another week of DWCS, this season is starting to produce even more talent in the UFC. From top prospects being added to fighters getting statement wins, this current season is shaping up to be one of the best.
