Week 6 of DWCS was another fantastic week fans shouldn’t have missed. This was a great week in the show’s series, from amazing back-and-forth fights to vicious knockouts. With three fights ending by finish and four fighters receiving contracts. Let’s go into more depth about who won a UFC contract.
Ahmad Hassanzada
From having an amazing story to getting a submission win to receiving a contract, Ahmad deserved every bit of getting a chance in the UFC. From nearly being finished in the second round, Ahmad was able to pull guard and eventually submit Dylan Montello with a rear naked choke. Ever since failing to get a UFC contract back in 2022, Ahmad has been fighting out of the legendary Team Alpha Male, with his coach, Urijah Faber. Ever since being at Team Alpha Male, Ahmad has been continually getting better.

Ateba Gautier
There is a lot of unknown potential in Ateba’s fighting game. From coming in as an underdog to getting a knockout in the second round, the 22-year-old out of Cameroon has a bright future in the UFC if he gets in a good camp in the US. With all five wins in his career coming by knockout, Ateba has excellent power and output. If he can avoid being held for long periods of time, he should have a bright future.
Tallison Teixeira
When Michael Bisping said, “We need more Heavyweights,” everyone agreed, mainly because Tallison will be a problem for many in the division. Standing in at a staggering 6’7’’ with a massive 83’’ reach. Tallison has quick, powerful shots that can put out any of his opponents fast, and he has a great chin. If he can show that he can be effective in all three rounds. Tallison will have a great career in the UFC.
Elijah Smith
Going up against one of Dan Hookers’ top prospects, Aaron Tau. Elijah Smith was able to dig deep in the third round to get a decision win. From being able to go strike for strike in the third round with a durable fighter. He has a great chin and excellent output and can go for takedowns whenever he needs to slow the fight down. Only 22 years old, Elijah should match up well with other Bantamweights in the UFC.

Conclusion
Week 6 of DWCS was another successful week in this season’s series. With more young talent being brought into the UFC, more depth is being added in certain divisions that lack it. With only four more weeks in the show’s season, more fantastic fight nights should be ahead.
