Mickie James has had a storied pro wrestling career. She was ranked the best female wrestler in the PWI Female 50 in 2009 and is a five-time WWE Women’s Champion. On top of that, she won the TNA/Impact Knockouts World Championship five times and was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2025. But it appears that the pro wrestling legend might have some competition.
Rather, it’s a current TNA Knockout who doesn’t have as decorated of a history as James. Enter Ash By Elegance, a Knockout who wants to challenge the legend in a match. Of course, these two have brawled at TNA No Surrender, with the current Knockout calling James out on the latest TNA Impact! episode.
Ironically, this would be an exciting match for many reasons. Aside from getting a good rub and pushing a fellow Knockout, Ash By Elegance can elevate her game to the next level. Here’s how that can happen.
Why Mickie James and Ash By Elegance would work so well
Obviously, you have James, who knows how to work a match. She’s done tremendous work with other wrestlers, ranging from Chelsea Green to Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 22 (although we don’t talk about that one particular moment).
When other Knockouts work with James, they’re getting experience and technical wrestling at the highest level. For Ash By Elegance, her power and athleticism make her the perfect folly. It’s akin to working with a pro wrestler like Bryan Danielson, who’s terrific at making technical wrestling entertaining.
Additionally, Ash By Elegance is an accomplished wrestler herself. Separately, she won Mr. Olympia’s Female of the Year Award in 2017. However, she won the WWE 24/7 Championship 15 times, adding a TNA Knockouts Championship to her arsenal.
Sprinkle a TNA Knockout of the Year award for 2025 and you have a great opportunity for Ash By Elegance. Fans will love the chance for a budding star to finally get the bump she deserves. Why not get that with James at the helm?
