Following Saturday night’s road loss to the Golden State Warriors, the New York Knicks bounced back in dominant fashion at home, blowing out the Miami Heat. As expected, Miami has struggled since trading star Jimmy Butler to the Warriors. They have now lost eight straight games. The last time the Heat had lost eight consecutive games dates back to March 2008. Mikal Bridges led the charge for New York in this victory. He was fantastic in this game for the team. Bridges scored 28 points, shooting 10-of-14 from the field, along with three assists and one assist. His teammate Karl-Anthony Towns also had a great game. He finished the evening with 23 points, seven rebounds, and three assists while shooting 10-of-17 from the field. As for the Heat, Duncan Robinson led the team with 22 points in a losing effort. With this win, New York has improved their record to 43-24, while Miami falls to 29-39 for the season. The Knicks would now again hit the road for an upcoming match against the San Antonio Spurs.

Game 63: March 19, 2025

New York Knicks at San Antonio Spurs

Final Score: SAS 120 – NYK 105

Back in the loss column once again. Knicks had one of worst first halves you can possibly worst imagine. To make things worse, they couldn’t pull off an improbable comeback against a short-handed Spurs team. New York was down as much as 28 points and still couldn’t find a way to close the gap. San Antonio has struggled as of late, losing 20 of their last 29 games. A key reason for that has been the absence of Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox. The Knicks were also without their star, Jalen Brunson, but that’s no excuse for failing to beat one of the worst teams in the league. Sandro Mamukelashvilli led the Spurs with a career-high 34 points, with nine rebounds, seven three-pointers, and three assists. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 32 points, which also came along with nine rebounds, in a losing effort for New York.

He scored 25 points, along with 25 points and eight assists. Teammate Mark Williams added a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. O.G. Anunoby scored 25 points for the Knicks, and Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 24 points and 10 rebounds. With this win, Charlotte finally snaps their six-game losing skid to New York.

Game 65: March 22, 2025

Washington Wizards vs New York Knicks

Final Score: NYK  112 – WSH 103

Following the last two losses that came against two of the worst teams in the league, the Knicks stormed back in dominant fashion. The Knicks’ dominant win over the Washington Wizards was anticipated, given the Wizards’ challenging season, which has left them at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings. Karl-Anthony Towns led the way in this victory for the Knicks. He managed to score 31 points while also adding 11 rebounds to his performance. Mikal Bridges also had an incredible performance for New York. He finished the first half strong with 25 points and capped off the game with 27 points.
