Memphis Grizzlies vs New York Knicks 

Final Score: NYK 143 – MEM 106

In a blowout win, the New York Knicks take down the Memphis Grizzlies to secure their fourth straight win. The biggest storyline? Their relentless defense. On Monday, they forced an impressive 26 turnovers, showcasing their ability to disrupt opponents. With this win, New York has improved their record to 31-14, while Memphis, on the other end, has dropped to 31-16 for the season.  Additionally, the Knicks have also improved their record against teams above .500 to 17-6. Leading the charge in this dominant win is Mikal Bridges.

He contributed with a team-high of 28 points to go with six assists, five rebounds, and two three-pointers. Karl-Anthony Towns also had a big game himself. Towns managed to add an additional 24 points that came along with 11 rebounds, one assist, and one steal. As for the Grizzlies, Jaren Jackson Jr. led the charge. He finished the evening with 21 points, four rebounds and 2 blocks.

Game 45: January 29, 2025

Denver Nuggets vs New York Knicks 

Final Score: NYK 120 – DEN 112

Make that five straight wins for the Knicks, who continue their hot streak. Their victory over the Denver Nuggets secures their second season sweep in the last three years. Jalen Brunson led the charge with a stellar 30-point performance, including 18 in the second half, as Denver mounted a late comeback attempt. But New York held firm, maintaining their slim lead to close out the win. Both Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic managed to combine for 50 points. Murray finished the evening with 33 points, six assists, and five rebounds. As for Jokic, he finished with just 17 points, six assists, six rebounds, two steals, and one block.

With this win, New York has improved their record to 32-16, while Denver, on the other end, has dropped to 28-19 for the season. Additionally, the Knicks record against teams that are above .500 also boosts up to 18-6. The Knicks tough home stand continues on Saturday as they host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Game 46: February 1, 2025

Los Angeles Lakers vs New York Knicks 

Final Score: LAL 128 – NYK 112

Like the old saying goes, “all good things must come to an end.” As we saw on Saturday night, the Knicks five-game winning streak got snapped by the Lakers. Los Angeles was without Anthony Davis, who eventually got traded the next day to the Dallas Mavericks in a blockbuster trade no one saw coming. Leading the charge for Los Angeles is LeBron James. He recorded a triple-double that came along with 33 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists. This would be Lebron’s 10th triple-double that he has recorded this year. As for New York, Josh Hart led the way with a 26-point performance in a losing effort.
