After a struggling start of the season, Janoris Jenkins broke out and was the difference maker in the 24-3 victory over the Washington Redskins. For that he was rewarded.
Jenkins, the Giants’ eight-year veteran cornerback, was responsible for three of the team’s four interceptions on Sunday. He also had four tackles (three solo).
“I just played football, man, like I told you last week” said Jenkins after the game this past Sunday. “Ain’t no pressure; you have games like that. I came out this week and worked in practice, critiqued what I did wrong last week, and I came out and played football.”
