David Fizdale Has Run Out Of Time With The Knicks

After Monday night’s nightmare 44 -point loss to Giannis Anteto and the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks head coach David Fizdale made arguably one of his worst mistakes with the organization in the post-game press conference.

As ESPN and YES Network’s Michael Kay described on his Tuesday afternoon radio show, Fizdale’s one job as coach is to motivate his players. Make them believe that they can win.

By saying he didn’t believe his team could win, what Fizdale is really doing is indicting himself.

For a team that is blank, which is worse than the Knicks were at this same time last season, there’s no excuse.

The Knicks came into 2018-19 with the mindset that they would be building for the future, growing their young talent and ultimately end up with a really strong chance to draft Duke sensation Zion Williamson with the No. 1 overall pick.

Before the start of this season, after the acquisitions of free agents such as Julius Randle, Taj Gibson, Bobby Portis, etc. the expecttaion was this Knicks team would compete. Be in the 30-42 win mark and be close to playoff contention.

If everything went well, they stayed healthy and got some luck on their side, hell, they might even squeak in as the eighth seed.
