New York Knicks at Cleveland Cavaliers

Final Score: CLE 142 – NYK 105

On Saturday night, New York suffered a blowout loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers by the final score of 142-105. This is unsurprising to hear, considering the team’s struggles against top-tier teams. Star Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs with 27 points as they shot 60% from the field. As for the Knicks, Jalen Brunson led the way with 26 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 23. This game also marked the return of OG Anunoby, who had missed the last couple of games due to an injury. Unfortunately, he had a quiet night. New York Knicks at Boston Celtics

On Sunday afternoon, the Knicks suffered another devastating loss, this time to the Celtics by the final score of 118-105. As a result of their loss, New York is 0-3 against Boston this season. These last three games against their rivals have been blowouts. By the way, it looks like the Knicks look more like pretenders than contenders based on their performance in these last two games against top-tier teams in the Eastern Conference. Star Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 25 points, along with 10 rebounds, nine assists, and three triples. His teammate Jaylen Brown added an additional 24 points and 8 rebounds in the game. Karl-Anthony Towns was the only positive takeaway from the Knicks on Sunday afternoon. He scored 24 points along with 18 rebounds in a losing effort.
