New York Knicks at Minnesota Timberwolves
Final Score: NYK 133 – MIN 107
Thursday night’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves saw the New York Knicks winning their second straight game. However, the main focus was on Karl-Anthony Towns, who made his return to Minnesota for the first time since the blockbuster went down. He was lights out for the Knicks in their win against his former team. Towns dropped a career-high of 32 points on 10-of-12 shooting, including a 5-for-5 clip from deep. To add to his performance, the former Wolves star added 20 rebounds and six assists in 38 minutes played. However, he wasn’t the only one to make a statement in this dominant win over Minnesota.
Credit also goes to Mikal Bridges as well. He went out and delivered one of his best games as a Knicks. Bridges managed to score 29 points on 12-of-18 shooting performance. In addition, he was one bucket away from reaching a season-high in points.
