Game 13: November 18, 2024

Washington Wizards vs New York Knicks

Final Score: NYK 134 – WSH 106

Monday night’s win over the Washington Wizards saw the New York Knicks win their third straight game. Even better, their victory was in a blowout. Things were too easy for New York in this latest win over Washington. Entering this game, Washington had one of the worst defensive teams in basketball, and the Knicks took advantage of that from beginning of the end. Jalen Brunson led the team with a strong performance. He finished the evening with 26 points, 1 rebound and 11 assists. New York even had six players scoring in double figures once again. These notable names included Karl-Anthony Towns, Cameron Payne, OG Anunoby, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, and, of course, Brunson.

Game 14: November 20, 2024

New York Knicks at Phoenix Suns

Final Score: NYK 138 – PHX 122

The Knicks are coming off another impressive win, this time against the Phoenix Suns. Notably, Phoenix was without its star, Kevin Durant, who has been sidelined with a left calf strain. This win gives New York its fourth straight victory and drops Phoenix to its fifth consecutive loss. This victory also places New York ahead of the Orlando Magic for the third seed in the Eastern Conference. Many things went well, so New York won this game over the Suns. Their red-hot first quarter is one of the main reasons the Knicks won this game. In that quarter, the team shot 18 for 23 (78.3), including 8 for 11 (72.7) from the three-point range.

Then you have the dynamic duos that features Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. These two are getting better and better each night. Both them of them dominated the game and managed to combine for 70 points. Their latest performance shows that they are capable of taking over as the best duos in the league this year.

Game 15: November 23, 2024

New York Knicks at Utah Jazz

Final Score: UTA 121 – NYK 106

Saturday night’s loss to the Utah Jazz snapped the Knicks four-game winning. This loss is surprising, considering how bad Utah has been playing thus far. Entering this game, the Jazz have the third-worst record in the league. Only the Washington Wizards have been playing far worse, with a 2-12 record. New York had an off night throughout the game, struggling on both the offensive and defensive sides. The Knicks look to bounce back on Monday night as they travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets.
