After an inexcusable loss to the Boston Celtics three days earlier, the New York Knicks have bounced back nicely on the road. This win came against the Indiana Pacers, who sit a couple of games back behind the Knicks for the third seed in the Eastern Conference. Leading the charge in this win for New York is Karl-Anthony Towns. On Tuesday night, he contributed 40 points that came along with 12 rebounds, five assists, and three steals. His teammate Josh Hart also scored 30 points, which came with 10 assists. Pascal Siakam led the way for the Pacers in a losing effort. He finished the evening with 24 points, along with five rebounds.

The Knicks defeated the Atlanta Hawks in an overtime thriller powered by a 44-point performance from Karl-Anthony Towns. New York has won its second straight game and is 9-2 in its last 1o games. On the other hand, The Hawks have seen their three-game winning streak come to an end. Despite this loss, Atlanta is still much in play for a play-in spot. As for Karl-Anthony Towns, he has been fantastic for the last two games.

He has managed to pull off a 4o-point performance in those last two games. It’s only going to get better. With this performance, Towns becomes the fifth Knicks player to score 40 points on back-to-back nights. He joins elite company like Bernard King, Patrick Ewing, Carmelo Anthony, and Jalen Brunson.
