Game 1: Oct. 28, 2024 

Cleveland Cavaliers at New York Knicks

Final Score: CLE 110 – NYK 104

Cleveland added to its solid season start with a win over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Cavaliers guard Darius Garland poured on 34 points as he drove through the lane and hit five of his eight 3-point attempts. Center Jarrett Allen added a 15-point, 15-rebound double-double. Forward Evan Mobley showcased his skills on the interior as he pushed past New York’s interior defenders for contested shots. He blocked three shots on the other end, shifting to the inside to deter driving guards if they had a clear path to the basket.

 

Game 2: Oct. 30, 2024 

Los Angeles Lakers at Cleveland Cavaliers

Final Score: LAL 110 – CLE 134

The Cavaliers trio of Allen, Mobley and guard Donovan Mitchell each scored 20 points or more. Allen garnered his third double-double of the season as he brought down 17 rebounds. Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James led LA with 26 points through a dominant paint performance on his former home court. Guard Bronny James, the son of LeBron and a former 5-star USC commit, scored his first two points of the season as he knocked down a pullup jumper late in the fourth quarter.

 

Game 3: Nov. 1, 2024 

Orlando Magic at Cleveland Cavaliers

Final Score: ORL 109 – CLE 120

Cleveland moved to 6-0 during the playoff rematch. It featured starts from the brother duo of Magic forward Franz Wagner and center Moritz Wagner. Garland and Mitchell combined for 47 points in the home win. Cavaliers guard Caris LeVert added 13 points and seven assists as he showcased his passing and playmaking abilities off the bench.

 

Game 4: Nov. 2, 2024 

Cleveland Cavaliers at Milwaukee Bucks

Final Score: CLE 114 – MIL 113

The Cavaliers earned a 7-0 start for the second time in franchise history. Mitchell hit a game-winning mid-range shot with 0.3 seconds left, highlighting a night that saw him lead Cleveland with 30 points. Guard Sam Merrill hit five of his nine 3-point shots off the bench. Cleveland clawed back from a first-quarter deficit that saw them down by as many as 16 points.
