Oklahoma City Thunder vs New York Knicks
Final Score: OKC 126 – NYK 101
Something is seriously wrong with the Knicks when it comes to facing top teams in the league, and their blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder says it all. New York had a difficult time containing Oklahoma City on both ends of the floor. The disaster did not start until after tip-off. OKC outscored New York 31-17 after one quarter and led by 27 heading into the half. A huge reason for their success is due to their ability to shoot from beyond the arc. The Thunder shot over 55% from the field and the arc. New York just did not have any answers.
Leading the way for the Thunder in their win over New York is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He led the entire team with 39 points that came along with three rebounds and two assists. Isaiah Joe also contributed with 31 points while coming off the bench. He sure looks like a sixth-man-of-the-year candidate based on the way he has been playing. With this win, OKC improves to 31-6, while New York falls to 26-14 for the season.
