After a Long Offseason, Hill gets Paid

Kansas City Chiefs wideout, Tyreek Hill, has been signed to a 3 year, $54 Million extension. This deal for Hill will tie Odell Beckham’s deal as the 2nd highest paid receiver in the league at $18 Million a year. The deal includes $35 Million is guaranteed money, and a $5.8 Million signing bonus.

Hill has had a busy offseason to say the least. He was banned from all team activities as he was under investigation in regards to allegations of child abuse after his son was found with a broken arm. The NFL wound up not suspending Hill, and he returned to the team for training camp and pre season.

Hill is a two time pro bowler who was entering the final year of his contract. The Chiefs 5th round selection back in 2016 is now tied up through 2022-2023. Hill has 223 receptions, 3,255 yards, and 25 touchdowns in his early NFL career. You can see Hill on Sunday as the Chiefs head to Jacksonville for week 1.
